Really nice, convenient, well-kept, and peaceful respite... Trails are great for walking, jogging, or biking. Always has parking spaces available. Mosquitoes can be an issue on very hot summer days, but you'll need to blame Mother Nature for that!

This is a quiet, clean environment that lots of people come to fish here day n night.

Was a fun run. Slow going and some parts dirty.

It's even nicer here now that the prisoners are not there mowing and selling drugs anymore. There is a very nice canaller man who mows the park now....it looks like a golf course. ...I'm sure he's underpaid and under appreciated. I think his name is rivers or streams.....or maybe brooks? Anyway, it's a great place to visit and watch the boats go through the lock.

Nice park to sit & have a lunch, dinner or snack. You can walk around, see the Lock & yachts & boats go through. Fish there, walk your dog. Access to the Erie/Barge Canal Trail. They have a Pavillion with lots of wooden picnic tables. Bring your lawn chair. Used to have bands & music there..."Betsy Barge series...may still have this feature certain weeks in Summer. Used to have fireworks Labor day weekend, if I remember correctly.
